Praise God For 50 Years of Service

“Oh give thanks to the LORD;

call upon his name;

make known his deeds among the peoples!

Sing to him, sing praises to him;

tell of all his wondrous works!”

(Psalm 105:1–2)

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, as we gather with thankful hearts, we cannot help but praise the Lord for His bountiful grace and abundant blessings upon Grace B-P Church over the past 50 years. When I reflect on this journey, I marvel at how faithfully the Lord has sustained His work among us through every season.

We know that no church is without its trials. As long as we remain on this earth, faithfully serving the Lord, we will face challenges and the wiles of the devil. Yet in the midst of every difficulty, we are strengthened by God’s unchanging promise:

“What then shall we say to these things?

If God is for us, who can be against us?”

(Romans 8:31).

Truly, it is the Lord who has upheld us, protected us, and carried us through.

As we now enter our Jubilee year, we do so with confidence and hope. The same Lord who has led us in the past will continue to guide us into the future, as long as we remain faithful to His Word and steadfast in His service. This is not just a time of celebration, but also a renewed call for every Gracian to take part in building up the church—loving one another, serving diligently, and bearing witness to God’s faithfulness.

Let us therefore take to heart the exhortation of Scripture:

“Only fear the LORD and

serve him faithfully with all your heart.

For consider what great things he has done for you”

(1 Samuel 12:24).

May our gratitude overflow into faithful service.
