"Praise the Lord for this ministry! Pray that the Lord will lead us step by step to serve Him.

John 14:18, Psalms 10:14b "the poor committeh himself to thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless." Psalm 68:5 "A father of fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation."

Thank God for giving us the vision to begin a ministry of helping the poor, orphans and street kids in Batam. Filadelfia Church has a heart and passion for the lost souls. The congregation, though small in number, has a fervent love for the Lord. They are reaching out to the lost. Praise God for their zeal.

The Dedication Service of "Shelter Home" is a step of faith for these brethren. They have little funds but great faith to trust in the Lord for His provision. The Lord has been good to provide them with sufficient money to purchase two plots of land: one is a landed property that is presently being utilised for the ministry and the other plot of land (next to the landed property) will be used in the future for the extension of this work.
At present, Sis. Sonia and another sister are staying in "Shelter Home" and supervising this work.
