Devotion for Kids

The kids around me in class keep getting me into trouble. What can I do ?

"Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou
perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge
."

Proverbs 14 : 7

You can ignore the other kids who are causing trouble. If you don't give them your attention, they probably will stop trying to get you to do what is wrong. If this doesn't work, ask the teacher to change your seat. To do your best in class, you need to be quiet and listen carefully to the teacher. Remember, no one can make you do something wrong or break the rules. Other kids can pressure you, but in the end, you always make the decision.

Decide that no matter what the kids around you do or how much they pressure you to do things that are wrong, you will do what is right. Do your best in your studies & listen to your teacher God has given you.

ACTIVITY
Write the letter I on a half sheet of paper & tape it to the cover of your notebook that you use often during the school day. It stands for "I am responsible." Make a colourful border around the letter. Let it remind you that you are the one who needs to be in control of your behaviour & do whatever you can to make good decisions at School.
