Pulpit Ministry- 31
August, '08
Pray for the Lord's anointing on Rev. Goh Seng Fong as the Lord's
messenger and on Bro. Adrian Teo as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists:
Bro. Edwin Lian & Sis. Loretta Wong.
Usher Ministry - 31 August, '08
Pray for Bros. Daniel Tan, Lee Kee Ming & Josiah Shen as they
greet members & guests cheerfully & tactfully.
Worship Service: Pray for a blessed time of worship. May
we cry out unto the Lord like the psalmist: "O God, thou
art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee in a dry & thirsty land, where no
water is". Psalm 63 : 1
Pray for Pastor as he will be speaking in Nazareth BPC
next Sunday.
Missions
Filadelfia- Pray for the upcoming Evangelistic Outreach
in September that God will pour His Spirit upon the non-Christians
and convict them of their sins.
Pray for the Shelter Home ministry. Pray that the Lord
will grant wisdom and love to the care-givers who take care of
the children.
Pray for ASM mission trips to Nepal and Cambodia. Continue
to pray for the teaching ministry now on in Life BPC. Pray for
the lecturers: Rev. Goh and Rev. Yap who are teaching respectively
on Monday & Thursday nights.
Other Ministries
Pray for the Youth Ministry: Pray for the committee as
they plan for the up-coming youth camp in Dec. Pray for the speaker:
Rev Bernard Low.
Adult Fellowship: Pray for a blessed time of learning thru
Rev Bernard Low and fellowship on 30 August.
Outreach: Pray that the Lord will grant the evangelism
committee wisdom as they organise this evangelistic outreach with
Filadelphia Church in September. Pray for Gracians/friends as
they invite their loved ones and friends to attend this "Family
Salvation Event". Pray for the special program by the Luwei
performers for this occasion. Pray for Rev. Lee as the speaker
for this Gospel meeting. Pray for the salvation of souls.
Grace Church Holy Land Tour: May 2009. Pray for wisdom
in the planning of this trip. Pray for the appropriate number
of persons who will come for this trip. Pray for the approval
of their annual leave.
Unsaved loved ones: Pray for your loved ones' salvation.
Trust the Almighty Lord to soften their hearts & convict them
of their sins and that they need a Saviour. Pray for opportunities
to share Christ with them at home.
Church Retreat June 2009: Pray for the planning of this
combined Eng/Mand Church retreat. Pray for the availability of
a venue and a speaker.
Reformation Month In October: Pray for the Singapore Council
of Christian Churches as they plan for a Reformation rally, October
22-25 in Zion BPC (Serangoon Gardens).
Pray for those who are sick: Bro. Fong in the nursing home.
Pray that he will be able to eat solid food soon.
Pray for our brethren who are travelling overseas for work
or holidays. Pray for safety and opportunities to share Christ.
