GRACE CHURCH COMBINED (ENG/MAND) RETREAT

God-willing, we will have a combined church retreat next year in Batu Pahat, Malaysia. The Adult Fellowship (AF) will be responsible for organizing this event with Bro. Chan Beng Hock leading the retreat committee from both services.

Last Monday, 18 August, Bros. Beng Hock, Richard Tan and I took a day trip to Batu Pahat to have a look at The Katerina Hotel. It is approximately 135 km from the JB-Singapore Checkpoint. It is a beautiful four star hotel with a good view of the town and sea. God-willing we will be able to hold the three-day church retreat here.

Do plan to be together in this event. It is always good to come together for a time of learning and fellowship. The plan is to have a combined Eng/Mand gathering with one speaker (and an interpreter) for the main messages. We want both services to get to know one another better. This is the view of the Church Session.

We estimate the cost to be about $200 per person. Do pray for Bro. Beng Hock & his committee as he plans on this retreat.
