SPECIAL CHILDREN'S MEETING
27TH FEBRUARY 2010

The aim of this meeting was actually to provide another avenue whereby the VBS children could be followed-up. God was good to answer prayers. 3 children came. 2 out of the 3 children were actually from non-Christian background homes and have so far attended our VBS only once last year. At least 1-2 more VBS children may come in the future.

It was really encouraging to be able to work with sis Magdalene and Geraldine. Sis Magdalene was a blessing in the area of sharing the Bible story to the children. Sis Geraldine was equally encouraging when she still offered to pick up the children and send them to church even though she was not feeling so well that day.

This ministry very importantly needs people who want to serve in areas of sharing God's word with the children as well as bus runners who can avail themselves to pick up the children from certain locations via hired bus or if the numbers are small as it is currently, via taxi. By God's grace we will hold this meeting on the last week of every month.

Efforts will also be made to distribute the invites around the church neighbourhood at least one to two weeks before the meeting. Above all, please pray that the Lord will use this work to reach out to many other VBS children or lost friends and relatives. We will have a session to distribute invites for the next meeting on the 14 March. Please meet in church sanctuary at 1:45 pm.
