If the law says something is right but
God says it's wrong, who's right?

"Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men".
Acts 5 : 29

The Bible tells us to obey the government. But when a government law goes against what God wants us to do, we should obey God instead of the government. God is in charge of the government and not the other way around. God created and rules the universe. No one can have higher authority.
For example, if the government passed a law making it illegal to pray, you should break the law and pray anyway. The same would be true about worshipping, reading the Bible and telling others about Christ. If the government were to make it OK to lie and steal, you still shouldn't do those things because they go against God's law. So you must always obey God first, God knows that it might be hard for you sometimes, so He will help you obey his ways.

ACTIVITY
Imagine that the government made laws that said you couldn't worship God, read the Bible, pray, go to Church, or tell others about Christ. What would you do?
