"But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God….. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion."

Truly we were able to experience God's power and wisdom at work for the Good News Club! Just the way He brought in the children alone was amazing - there were only two confirmed coming as of Sunday. However, we had five children attending the meeting on the day itself!

A girl, Rayna was supposed to stay over at sis Gim Choon place on Wednesday (2 June), somehow God "prompted" sis Gim Choon to invite her over earlier, on Monday. Then there is this boy, Nigel, sis Hannah's "long lost" friend's son. The timing for the friend to get in touch with sis Hannah and her son being available only on Monday. Isn't all these the wonderful working of God's power and wisdom?

Thank God that everything went on smoothly. We even had the joy of receiving two girls into the family of God! Both Si Lin and Rayna prayed and trusted Jesus as their Saviour. Even for Nigel who claimed to be anti-Christian, sat quietly through the lesson and listened attentively. Pray that God's word will work within him and bear fruit in due time. Thank God also for bro John Tan who was available to transport the children to the Good News Club and later back to their homes.

Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God" Mark 10:14

Who says little children cannot understand the gospel? We had two souls on that day! We must do our part in reaching out and God will do His!
