Praise and Prayer Items in Brief

Pulpit Ministry- 25 July 2010
Pray for the Lord's anointing on Pastor as the Lord's messenger and Bro Roger Han as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists: Bro Augustine Tham and Sis Joanna Hor.

Usher Ministry- 25 July 2010
Pray for Bro Allan Lim, Sis Lim Ai Ling and Sis Naomi Neoh as they greet the members/friends cheerfully. Pray for their safety in the Lord's work.

Worship Service: Let us come into His presence with cleansed and joyful hearts and exalt His Name on high. Pray for our hearts to be attuned to His Word. Pray for wisdom to apply God's message for us this morning.

Missions
Filadelfia: Pray that God will bless this ministry and that they will bear fruits abundantly. Pray for the members/friends to be zealous in serving the Lord. Thank God for Filadelfia's 6th anniversary this month.

Shelter Home: Pray for the children that they will grow in their love for the Lord. Pray for the care givers that they will have wisdom, patience and love to look after the children.

Other Ministries
Youth Ministry: Pray that God will help them in the follow-up of the youths in their last outreach to them. Pray for the weekly cell meeting that it will be a blessing to learn God's Word together.

Adult Fellowship: Pray for Rev Jack Sin as he speaks on "Stress Management" on 31 July. Pray for a time of blessed learning and fellowship.

Evangelistic Outing on Sat 28 Aug to Malacca: Pray for the 3 testimonies from Helping Hand that God will speak through them to the non-Christians. Pray for wisdom as the evangelism committee plan this event.

Sis Chew Gim: Pray for her spiritual and physical health.
New Presbytery: Pray for the Lord's leading for our church if we should be a part of this body.

Pray for Bro James Tan's ministry in Central Thailand co-labouring with the OMF. Pray for wisdom to share the gospel with the Thaïs.

Church Expansion Plan: Pray for the Lord's leading in whether to redevelop our present Church or to purchase the plot at Joo Chiat and build a new Church. Pray for the architect, Mr Quek Swee Kiang as he helps us in the application of the redevelopment of our building to URA.

Pray for the Missions Committee as they meet and discuss next Sunday, 25 July on the missions policy.

Children's Ministry: Pray for the special children's meeting on 31 July.

Family Worship On July 24: Thank God for the family worship in the home of Mr & Mrs Eric Ng. Pray for a blessed time of worship and thanksgiving.
