EVANGELISM REPORT
January- June 2010

On the second Sunday of each month we have Tracting and Witnessing at the East Coast Beach. Three members witness regularly. At the beach, the foreigners whom we met are mostly people from Myanmar, Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh and China.

Number of Gospel shared: 19 Adults and 8 children.
Number of Salvation: 3 persons trust Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Good Friday and Easter were just two Traditional Gospel Services held this year on 2nd April and 4th April. We encouraged our members to seize the opportunity to invite their family and friends to Church. Pray continuingly for our unsaved family members, relatives and friends.
June 18 our youth organized an evangelistic event held at "Settler's Café", 48 persons attended it, and out of this, 13 of them are not believers. Praise God for one salvation.
March 5th and 6th we conducted a refresher Adult EE Trainers Course, and April 30 - 2nd May, we had Xee Training. Connect activities were arranged with Rachel Teo's students in their teens and with Jane Ho's students who are a much older group. Altogether we built friendship with 25 students. So far we had visited at least five homes. One of our friends attends our church Mandarin Service regularly even though she is not a believer. There is no commitment on her part because she said that there must be some sort of enlightenment from God before she can accept Jesus into her life.
The classic Adult EE, Hope for Kids EE and Xee are designed for different generations to resolve the root problem of sin. Salvation is based on the person and work of Jesus Christ alone to save mankind.
They are witnessing tools for you to use for the rest of your life. If you are passionate about your faith in Christ you would seek every opportunity to share the gospel.

How do you do that?

  • Walk daily with God. Your journey with God starts here.
  • Be equipped and train others.
  • Discover ways to cultivate friendship into opportunities to share the gospel. Long-term relationship is your family members, relatives and people who we come into contact daily. Short-term relationship is probably your colleagues and neighbors.

Bro Augustine Tham's Testimony:
Ten years ago he wanted to share gospel with his god-father but he didn't know how-to share it. Now after the EE training he knows how-to share the gospel, but it's too late because his god-father had died already. Let's put behind this regret, learn from it and move on. There are many opportunities around us. May the Holy Spirit of God lead and guide us in sharing the gospel truth with our loved ones and friends.
