Praise and Prayer Items in Brief

Pulpit Ministry-7 February '10
Pray for the Lord's anointing on Pastor as the Lord's messenger and as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists: Bro Edwin Lian and Sis Loretta Wong.

Usher Ministry-7 February '10
Pray for Sis Lynna Seah, Bro Tan Teck Shi and Bro. Cheah Kun Cheng as they greet the members/friends cheerfully.

Worship Service: Praise the Lord for Sunday and the opportunity to be in God's house to worship Him. Let us pray for a cleansed heart to worship God always.

Missions
Filadelfia: Pray that God will strengthen the leaders of the Church and pray that God will provide them with a Pastor to minister unto them.

Shelter Home: Pray that the kids will grow strong physically and spiritually. Pray for the smooth completion of the expansion of Shelter Home which is expected to be in May 2010.

Other Ministries
Youth Ministry: Pray for the formation of a combined youth fellowship-God willing, sometime this year. Pray for Bros Daniel, James and committee as they work with the Mandarin Service over this proposal.

Adult Fellowship: Pray for the next meeting on 27 Feb with Rev Colin Wong. Thank God for seeing the AF through six years of ministry as they celebrated this event yesterday.

Sis Chew Gim: Pray for God's protection and guidance upon her in her work. Pray that God will grant her good health and strength. Pray for opportunity to witness for Jesus.

Church Camp in 2010: Thank God for the email from Dr Harding last week. He is looking forward to be with us. Pray for good health. Pray for him as he prepares the lesson outline, etc. Praise God that all the 70 seats have been taken up. Pray for leave to be approved quickly.

Monthly Evangelism: Pray for the Eng/Mand services as they go out for evangelism each month. Pray for God to rekindle the hearts of members/friends to be enthusiastic in witnessing for Him. Pray for Sis Catherine Ng as she leads the English service in this task.

Evangelism Explosion (EE personal evangelism): Pray for Sis Catherine Ng as she works on this training session in March. Pray for our people to come forth and learn to be God's witnesses.

Children's Ministry: Pray for Sis Hannah Yeo as she plans to start a new children's ministry by the 27 Feb. Pray for children to attend. Pray for the tracting and invitation in early February in the Bedok South area.

Church Expansion: Pray for the Lord's clear leading on what we should do. Pray for the Session and Building Com as they decide on this matter soon.

Turkey Trip (In the Steps of St. Paul): Pray for Pastor as he plans for this trip in 2011.
