GRACE AF 6TH ANNIVERSARY
(27 January 2007)

Praise the Lord for seeing the AF through six years of service. I sincerely thank the Lord for some faithful people, especially Bro Raymond Seah and his wife, Jessie and Bro Eric Ng and his wife, Cindy, and Sis Lai Ngoh who served the Lord with me in the AF committee all these years. We have Bro Raymond Teo who joins us only this year in the committee. I am thankful to the Lord for their spirit and zeal to see the ministry succeed.

I am also grateful to the Lord for the members who have given their wholehearted support to the AF. They have been coming regularly for the monthly meetings and have contributed food for the dinner fellowship. I also wish to thank Bros Richard Tan, B. H. Ong and Sis Patricia Ong for coming to clean the refreshment area in the morning before the meeting.

The AF will not be able to continue the ministry without the support of all you great folks. You have shown your love for this work and the people. Let us continue to give our support to make this ministry better and effective for older Gracians.

As we enter our seventh year of service
What do we want to see the AF be in 2010? The Theme will be:

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth"
(1 John 3: 18)

We hope to bring forth the message to the AFers that we should be loving to one another in a practical way. We should display kindness to others and offer assistance to those in need. We should learn to listen to people with problems and try to help them.

This year's AF will also feature an outreach work with the evangelism team to reach out to our non-Christian family members. We are planning an outing to Malaysia on 28 August.

We will also be holding a Parenting Seminar on June 26 with Rev (Dr) David Wong and Bro Lim Chien Chong.

Take a look at the plan for the first quarter of 2010:

Feb 27 - AF Theme Message and Chinese New Year Gathering. Msg by Rev Colin Wong.

Mar 27 - "Cancer".
Msg by Dr Foo Kian Fong

Apr 24 - "Handling Death and Bereavement".
Msg by Rev (Dr) Goh Seng Fong.
