Praise and Prayer Items in Brief

Pulpit Ministry-31 January '10
Pray for the Lord's anointing on Pastor as the Lord's messenger and on Bro Richard Tan as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists: Sis Joanna Hor and Sis Tay Boon Jin.

Usher Ministry- 31 January '10
Pray for Bro Allan Lim, Bro Daniel Tan and Bro Lee Kee Min as they greet the members/friends cheerfully.

Worship Service: Praise the Lord for a place to worship the Lord every Sunday. Let us pray for a blessed time to worship the Lord each week.

Missions
Filadelfia: Pray that God will guide them as they are looking for a man to pastor the church. Presently, they do not have a man in the ministry as the Bro Antonio has gone back to complete his theological education.

Shelter Home: Pray that the expansion of the Home and kindergarten will go on smoothly.

Other Ministries
Youth Ministry: Pray for the youth as they meet every Friday for their cell meeting in Bro Chee Liang's office in town. Pray for the combined youth (Eng/Mand) meeting to begin in Feb. Pray for James and Daniel as they lead the two groups.

Adult Fellowship: Pray for our upcoming meeting on Sat 30 Jan. Pray for Rev. Heng as he speaks on "Growing Old Gracefully". Thank God for the AF 6th anniversary on this day. Pray for a fruitful year of service and Afers' commitment to support this ministry.

Chew Gim: Pray for God's protection and guidance upon her. Pray that she will adapt well in the orphanage, to the cold climate and to her fellow workers. Pray for good health.

Church Camp in 2010: Thank God for the good response from members for this camp. Pray for a blessed time of learning together. Pray for Dr Harding's health. Pray for their annual leave to be approved.

Missions committee: Praise the Lord for this new committee. Pray for them as they look through the Missions Policy and make amendments for present and future missionaries.

Monthly evangelism: Pray for the Eng/Mand services as they go out for evangelism each month. Pray for Sis Catherine Ng as she leads the English congregation.

Turkey Trip (In the Steps of Paul): Pray for Pastor as he plans for this trip in 2011.

Our Church Prayer Meeting: Let us pray for the Lord's blessing upon this ministry. Pray for more intercessors to come on Wednesday nights to pray for their members.

Our Prayer Life: Pray for ourselves that we will be strong in our prayer life.

Our Love For God's Word: Pray for an ever-increasing desire to study God's Word deeply in 2010. Pray that God will help us to abide in His Word and to obey its Precepts.
