What
happens to people who don't go to Church?
Where is boasting then? It is excluded.
By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore
we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds
of the law".
Romans 3 : 27-28
Going to Church doesn't get
a person into Heaven. And not going to Church doesn't send a person
to hell. A person becomes a Christian by faith, believing in Christ,
not by doing good things. Most Christians go to Church because
of what happens there. At Church, you can meet other Christians.
You can find encouragement and help for your problems. You can
learn from God's Word and help others. You can experience wonderful
worship, singing and praying that glorifies God. People who don't
go to church miss all that. They miss a very special meeting with
God and the chance to grow with other Christians.
What do you enjoy most about Church?
ACTIVITY
Push 4 toothpicks into a sweet potato around the middle of it.
Put the sweet potato on the rim of a glass filled with water.
Adjust the amount of water so that the bottom inch of the potato
is in water. Set it in a sunny window. As the days go by, add
water so that it always covers the bottom of the sweet potato.
In about a week, the plant will sprout and grow. Christians can
grow quickly took. They grow to be like Jesus when they are in
the water of God's Word & the sunshine of the Church.
