How will the world end?

"I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone".
Revelation 21 : 1

We don't know exactly when the world will end, but we know that it will end. This is not bad news, for it's part of God's plan. And the world will not be destroyed by people, or by things getting out of control. It will be God's doing and God's timing. This world will end in a blaze of fire! God will replace it with a new one.

This will not happen until Jesus comes back. He will return, just as He promised, to judge all people who have ever lived and to set up His kingdom. He will replace our damaged world with a new, perfect one, where his people will live with Him forever. For those who love Him, the end of the world will really be a beginning-a wonderful, awesome beginning! You can be part of that beginning if you trust Him.

ACTIVITY
Today's Bible verse talks about the new beginning. Read more about this in Revelation 21 : 1-22 : 6. Then get a lump of clay and form it into a "New world". Use a pencil or a piece of wire to outline countries of the world. You can keep it as a reminder of the new world that God will create someday.
