Prayer Items in Brief
Pulpit
Ministry-2 May 2010
Pray for the Lord's anointing on Pastor as the Lord's messenger
and Bro Adrian Teo as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists:
Sis Lim Sue San and Sis Loretta Wong.
Usher Ministry- 2 May 2010
Pray for Bros Richard Tan, James Tan and John Tan as they greet
the members/friends cheerfully.
Worship Service: Pray for worshippers to make every effort
to come early for worship.
Missions
Filadelfia: Thank God for this ministry. Thank God for
faithful people who serve the Lord fervently. Pray for non-believers
to come to Christ through their outreach work.
Shelter Home: Pray that God will protect and guide the
kids spiritually. Pray that the kids will learn to trust in the
Lord. Pray for the smooth completion of the extension building.
Other Ministries
Youth Ministry: Pray that the youths will have a closer
walk with the Lord. May their faith be strengthened through the
reading of His precious Word and through prayer. Pray that they
will be able to manage their time wisely. Pray for them as they
plan for the kelong event and the June Outreach.
Adult Fellowship: Praise the Lord for a wonderful time
of learning and fellowship with one of another.
Sis Chew Gim: Pray that God will grant her good health
and strength as she serves the Lord in the orphanage.
Church Camp in 2010: Pray for Dr. Harding as he prepares
to speak in this camp. Pray for the committee as they plan the
activities, etc. Pray for the discussion group leaders in their
preparation to lead their groups.
Turkey Trip in March 2011: Pray for the Lord's leading
in planning for this trip.
Evangelism Equipping training session: Pray that our members/friends
will be keen to join this training session so that they can learn
how to evangelise to the lost world. Pray for a blessed time of
learning and opportunity to reach out to the lost.
A Successor: Pray for the Lord to raise up someone from
amongst the Gracians to take on the pastoral ministry from Pastor
in six years' time.
Church Expansion Plan: Pray for the Session as they decide
on this matter.
Pray for Russia
- Victims of the recent bomb blasts that
they will be healed, comforted and strengthened by the presence
of God.
- Believers to be conduits of peace to
those who are living in fear.
- God to bring conviction and repentance
to those who plotted this evil and to thwart the plans of the
Enemy to bring further chaos.
- Wisdom for the government to resolve
the issues and bring rest.
