In heaven, we don't just sing and
worship all day, do we?

"To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee forever".
Psalm 30 : 12

We read in the Bible about angels singing and praising God day and night, and we can't imagine doing that all the time. But they are singing because they are glad, not bored, tired or old. They are expressing happiness and joy. No one in the universe is happier than God, so living in heaven with God is happy and cool.

Imagine that you are a tadpole. All your life you've lived only in the water. You know that someday you will become a frog and get to live on land. But while you are a tadpole, if anyone tries to explain life on land to you, it won't sound very appealing. That's the way it is with heaven. Until you get there, it may be hard to understand what's so great about it. But once you get there, you will have a new, perfect body and you will be happier than you have ever been before.

ACTIVITY
Read Psalm 29. It was first written as a song of praise to God, but the music has gotten lost. Why don't you write a tune for the first 4 verses? Teach it to your family and your Sunday School class. If you have trouble writing a tune, you can sing the words to a familiar tune. Sing it to God and then share it with your friends.
