Report On The Combined BP Church Youth Fellowship Annual Meeting

Last Saturday afternoon, about 15 Yfers gathered at Galilee BP Church for this year's Combined BP Youth Fellowship. The event, attended by 16 BP Churches, started off with singspiration. Rev Dr Jack Sin spoke. The message was based on this year's theme-"Make Me A Stranger" and it reminded us that this world on earth is not our home, but we are just passing through. As Christians, we should not let ourselves get involved with all the sins on this earth, but instead, we should separate ourselves from the things in this world that would draw us away from God.

After the message, we were treated to interesting presentations by 5 churches, including ours, and not forgetting to mention that Daniel represented Emmanuel YF in the presentation.

The Youth were divided in various groups for a variety of games which were meant to help us make some friends and foster closer fellowship. Most of the games were pretty much enjoyable, but what I enjoyed most was "foosball" or what we call "Human Table Soccer", which I thought was rather fun. The event ended off with a satisfying buffet dinner. Overall, I thought this year's Combined BP YF was more enjoyable compared to the previous one. This yearly event has indeed helped us strengthen our bonds with youths from other BP Churches and I certainly look forward to another meaningful Combine YF next year.
