Why does eternity last for a long, long, time?

"He hath made everything beautiful in his time:
also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end".
Ecclesiastes 3 : 11

Eternity doesn't last a long time. It lasts forever, and that's longer than a long time. The word "eternity" means "infinite or endless time." It is impossible for people to understand eternity. It's beyond what our brains can imagine, because everything we imagine has limits.
But God knows because He has no limits. He is eternal. You can trust Him to take care of all your tomorrows and your forever. You'll not get to be with God in heaven, you'll get to be there for Him forever!

ACTIVITY
Take an eye dropper and see how many drops of water it takes to fill a paper cup with half an inch of water. Next, do the math and figure out how many drops it would take for a foot of water (at the same width). Imagine how many drops it would take to fill a pond, a river, a big lake or an ocean. The time that it would take to add all those drops together would be only the beginning of eternity.
