mean things does Satan do to people?
"Be sober, be vigilant; because
your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour".
I Peter 5 : 8
Satan does not get to do
whatever he wants to do to people. The main thing he does is get
us to hurt ourselves. Lots of people think that Satan only tempts
people to do bad stuff. He does tempt us, but the worst thing
he does is lie to us.
Satan hates God & does not want you to believe what God says.
He wants you to sin. He wants you to believe what is false. He
wants you to believe that you are no good. Satan lies to you about
your worth and about what really matters, so you'll hurt yourself.
But God loves you and wants you to be your best. God is the one
to listen to.
ACTIVITY
With a parent or a grandparent, take a look at the front section
of a daily newspaper or a magazine. Find a story about someone
who listened to Satan's lies and tried to hurt himself or someone
else. Pray for that person. Ask God to help you keep listening
to Him.
