Pray for the Lord's anointing on Pastor as the Lord's messenger
and on Bro. Lim Chien Chong as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists:
Sis. Mildred Chan & Sis. Tay Boon Jin.
Usher Ministry-2 August, '09
Pray for Sis. Lynna Seah, Bro. Tan Teck Shi & Bro. Josiah
Shen as they minister to the brethren. Thank God for the ushers'
work.
Worship Service: As we come into His holy presence, let
us quieten our hearts, sing praises to our Almighty God with joy
and thanksgiving and meditate upon His Word. Let us pray for a
blessed time of worship. "Draw near to God and He will draw
near to you"
Missions
Filadelfia: Pray for their Church to be a beacon of light
to their surroundings! Pray that God will use the leaders for
the extension of His kingdom. Praise the Lord for their faithfulness
to serve Him.
Shelter Home: Pray for Shelter Home Extension. Pray for
the Kindergarten project. Pray for wisdom to reach out to the
community surrounding the Home.
- They are also looking at the empty
land on the left side of Shelter Home. They are checking on
the price of the land. They plan to build a boy's dormitory
so that the boys & the girls can each have a separate dormitory.
At present, they have 3 boys, and 4 girls. Pray for the Lord's
leading.
- Julta, a 11 years old Chinese boy,
has been admitted to Shelter Home on 25 June. Pray for him
- Preacher Antonius has arrived on July
7. Preacher Ice has left to further his studies. Pray for the
new preacher to be a blessing to the ministry.
Other Ministries
Youth Ministry
Pray for the Youth Cell Group, as they begin a study on 1 &
2 Peter. Pray for the youth, that they will be committed to be
involved in each other's spiritual life and growth. Pray for the
planning and execution of the Combined B-P YF event on 15 August,
2009.
Adult Fellowship: Thank God for the message on "Homosexuality"
which enlightens our minds. Praise the Lord for a wonderful time
of fellowship.
Evangelism seminar: Pray that God will bless this seminar
through Rev. (Dr.) Paul Woods and the other 6 speakers on 10 August.
Pray for an edifying time of learning.
Session election in December: Pray for the Lord's leading
to give us the right people to serve Him from 2010-2012.
Outreach for December: Pray for the planning for this outreach.
Good News Club, Vacation Bible School and our Christmas programme.
H1N1: Pray for the Lord's protection upon our church from
this virus. Pray for those who are sick that the Lord will heal
them quickly.
Prayer Meeting. Pray for the Lord's blessing on the missions'
prayer meeting once a month in church.
