BE A
STRONG PRAYING CHURCH
Come and support the Church
in prayer in 2009! Make this one of your priorities in the ministry.
News of a prolonged & deep recession in 2009 globally have
been announced on T.V. and in the various publications. The economists
predicted that it will be one of the worst recessions that we
will encounter and inevitably, this global financial crisis will
have a severe impact on our nation too. In the coming months,
we will witness more of our citizens losing their jobs due to
the slowdown in our economy. Tough days are ahead! Yet as children
of God, we can trust our Almighty God in the midst of this financial
turmoil. We dare take things lightly because we have a Father
who loves & cares for us. We need to assemble together to
pray and to encourage one another.
A Good Year 2008
Thank God for an excellent prayer ministry in 2008. Praising &
praying to God will draw us closer to Him. It would also strengthen
our faith when we share with others how God answered our prayers.
PTL for the good turn out on the 17 Dec (Wed) night when we saw
a stunning number of 25 persons in the prayer meeting. Dearly
beloved, let us come to pray & to praise the Lord for His
love & blessings to us. Do not wait until bad times! He is
our King & Almighty God & He deserves all our praises
& thanks.
Be Quick To Give Thanks to the Lord
Thanksgiving must be on our lips always. The Lord has been good,
merciful, slow to anger & gracious to us in many diverse ways
and we should worship & exalt His Name. "Whoso offereth
praise glorifieth me
." (Ps. 50: 23). I notice that
when it comes to thanksgiving, some of us seem to have nothing
to praise the Lord. God wants us to sing praises unto Him. (Psalm
147 : 1)
A Better Prayer Meeting in 2009
Can we maintain the good number of people coming to pray every
Wednesday night? I am trusting the Lord to see a higher attendance
of people at the Prayer Meetings. My heart's desire is to see
each & every Gracian & friend to be God's intercessors
for the work in our Church. Come and pray together as worshipping
& praising God with other believers is one of the most significant
things we can do in our lives.
