Will
God be with me all the time in Heaven?
"And I heard a great voice out
of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell
with them, and they shall be his people, & God himself shall
be with them, and be their God".
Revelation 21 : 3
On earth, people cannot always
be together with the people they love. They may be in a crowded
place but not really know anybody. They might be by themselves
a lot of the time. Or their best friends may move away. Or a favourite
relative might die.
This isn't the way it will be in heaven! There, you will get to
go right up to God and talk to Him. God will be with you all the
time and you will be with Him. God will be your friend, and you
will be his. Getting to be with God will be one of the very best
things about heaven!
ACTIVITY
Make a list of everyone you will want to see in Heaven. Think
of Bible characters (David? Samson? Jonah?), great Christians
in history (Luther? Augustine?) and some of your own relatives.
At dinner, share the list with your family and see who the others
would have on their lists.
