What are some good things to do when
you're not in School?

"Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun".
Ecclesiastes 8 : 15

There are many things to do during a school break. You could plant a garden, collect rocks or insects, take pictures or help your parents in doing chores. You could go to the library to read books. You could organize a garage sale. Or you could invite your friends over to play.

Wherever you live, God has given you many interesting things to see and do. Don't just be lazy and say "I'm bored" all the time. Thank God for extra time to explore new ideas and new places!

ACTIVITY

September break may be coming up. Choose at least one activity from the list above that you can do, and take the first step toward doing it. For example, if you choose to plant a garden, you can buy a packet of seeds. If you decide to begin a rock collection, you could get a book that describes all kinds of rocks. Get started now!
