Pulpit Ministry-9

Pray for the Lord's anointing on Pastor as the Lord's messenger
and as Chairman. Pray for our instrumentalists: Sis. Cheryl Chiu
& Sis. Loretta Wong.
Usher Ministry-9 August, '09
Pray for Bro. Augustine Tham, sis. Geraldine Tham & Sis. Irene
Kho as they minister to the brethren in this task.
Worship Service: Let us come and worship Him in the beauty
of holiness.Fall before His throne of grace and ask Him for forgiveness
for our sins. Let us bow before our Lord with cleansed hearts
and worship Him wholeheartedly with joy.
Missions
Filadelfia: Pray that God will grant wisdom and good health
to their leaders as they serve Him. Pray that God will strengthen
the faith of their members and friends too.
Shelter Home: Pray for the leaders as they embark on the
expansion of Shelter Home. Pray for their Kindergarten project
- Pray for them as they plan to purchase
the empty plot of land on the left side of the Shelter Home.
They plan to build a boy's dormitory, so that they will be able
to separate the boys & the girls. Now we have 3 boys, and
4 girls. Pray for the Lord's leading.
- We have Julta, a 11 years old Chinese
boy who has been admitted to Shelter Home on 25/06. Pray for
him.
- Preacher Antonius has arrived on July
7. Preacher Ice has gone back to further his studies. Pray for
the new preacher to be a blessing to the ministry.
Other Ministries
Youth Ministry
Pray for the Youth Cell Group, as they begin a study on 1 &
2 Peter. Pray for the youth, that they will be committed to be
involved in each other's spiritual life and growth. Pray for the
planning and execution of the Combined B-P YF event on 15 August
2009.
Evangelism seminar: Pray that God will bless this seminar
through Rev. (Dr.) Paul Woods and the other 6 speakers on 10 August.
Pray for an edifying time of learning.
Session election in December: Pray for the Lord's leading
to give us the right people to serve Him from 2010-2012.
Outreach for December: Pray for the planning for this outreach.
Good News Club, Vacation Bible School and our Christmas programme.
